The system works on the basis that when you publish your pages, they will appear in the centre of any browser viewing them. There's still lot of screens out there where browsers are only 980 pixels wide, so we recommend that you work within that size and fill anything wider than that with a background color or image. We've put some little red guides on the toolbar to help you with this.
