IMAGES

Preparation is key. There's not much point using a huge image (say from a high megapixel camera) in a website - and cropping and playing with brightness, contrast and colour balances are important depending on the quality of image you have.

To save downloading any software, we use a free web-based editor called Pixenate. Click on the logo (opens in a new window), then come back here and we'll teach you the basics in 4 easy steps.

Step 1: click on the Choose link and you'll be able to browse and upload an image from your computer.

Step 2: Once you've uploaded, you should see the image load in the editor. We won't go into the tools here as they're intuitive and you'll be able to work them out.

Step 3: Once you have the image pretty much how you want it (you can adjust the size in MyDND later on), click on Save To Disk and download it to somewhere you can easily find it.

Step 4: Go to MyDND and click on Image on the Toolbar. Now upload it to our servers using Add. The Editor will then close, and the image will be on your webpage ready to be drag'n'dropped.

If you delete the image from the page, it will still be in your Image Library to use again later on.
