At the moment, to publish a video in MyDND it needs to already be on the web (on sites like YouTube, MySpace Videos or Viddler - all of which are free and easy to upload to).

These video publishing sites tend to provide an embed code which you can copy and paste into our Video Editor, and if you haven't used tools like this before, we'll talk you through using YouTube now in 7 easy steps.

Step 1 - go to YouTube and open an account.

Step 2 - make sure your video is no longer than 10 minutes or over 1GB in size. Also it will need to be in .WMV, .AVI, .MOV or .MPG formats.

Step 3 - click on your account drop down menu and select 'My Videos'

Step 4 - in the 'My Videos' page, click on 'New' > 'Video Upload' and go through the process.

Step 5 - once the video is uploaded and has finished processing, you'll see it be described as live. Click on the link to the video itself.

Step 6 - now click on the embed code and wait a couple of seconds for the options to load, choose the size and style you want, then click on the embed code again (make sure it is highlighted) and right click > copy it.

Step 7 - now go to MyDND and click on video on the toolbar of your webpage, and paste the code into the popup that appears, and click 'Add'.

Your video should now appear on the page with a little cross at the bottom for dragging and dropping.

Videos are very much alive even in MyDND, and will show on top of any other object so it's best to put these in last.
